This role is a strategic opportunity for an experienced identity and access management professional to lead the design, deployment, and optimization of enterprise-grade IBM ISIM/ISVG environments. You will be responsible for building highly secure, scalable, and resilient identity governance platforms from the ground up within complex enterprise infrastructures. The position combines deep technical expertise in IAM architecture, middleware, cloud and infrastructure components, high availability, and disaster recovery strategies. You will work across multi-tier enterprise environments, integrating identity governance solutions with critical systems and ensuring operational reliability at scale. This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong ownership, problem-solving capabilities, and infrastructure-level understanding beyond application administration. The environment is fully remote, highly technical, and focused on delivering production-ready identity governance solutions for enterprise operations.

• Design and implement enterprise-scale IBM ISIM/ISVG architectures aligned with security and operational best practices.
• Install, configure, and manage supporting infrastructure components including WebSphere, DB2, LDAP directories, and load balancers.
• Build and maintain multi-tier environments across development, QA, and production systems.
• Configure clustering, high availability, failover, and disaster recovery mechanisms for IAM platforms and supporting infrastructure.
• Integrate ISIM/ISVG with enterprise systems such as Active Directory, HR platforms, APIs, and SSO/federation solutions.
• Configure workflows, provisioning policies, certification campaigns, and role-based access control models.
• Optimize system performance through JVM tuning, database optimization, reconciliation improvements, and scalability planning.
• Automate deployments, environment provisioning, and operational tasks using scripting and infrastructure-as-code practices.
• Support CI/CD integrations and modern DevOps workflows where applicable.
• Produce architecture documentation, operational runbooks, and knowledge transfer materials for support teams.

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with IBM ISIM and/or IBM ISVG platforms.
• Proven experience designing and deploying ISIM/ISVG environments from scratch in enterprise settings.
• Strong expertise with WebSphere Application Server (ND or Liberty), DB2 administration, and LDAP configuration.
• Solid Linux system administration and infrastructure management experience.
• Demonstrated experience implementing high availability and disaster recovery architectures.
• Deep understanding of identity governance concepts including IGA, RBAC, certification campaigns, and segregation of duties (SoD).
• Experience integrating IAM platforms with Active Directory and enterprise applications.
• Strong scripting and automation skills using Shell, Python, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex enterprise infrastructure and performance issues.
• Strong communication, documentation, and technical ownership capabilities.
• Experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes, IBM Security Verify SaaS, or enterprise load balancers is a plus.
• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or IAM-related credentials are advantageous.
