Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Shipping & Handling Team Lead to oversee daily shipping and receiving operations while leading a team focused on safety, accuracy, and efficiency.

What You'll Do
Lead daily shipping, receiving, and material handling operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Coordinate workflow and labor priorities to ensure on-time customer shipments and production support.
Oversee the accurate packaging, staging, loading, and documentation of outbound vehicles and materials.
Utilize ODOO ERP to process shipping transactions, inventory movements, receiving activities, and material tracking.
Maintain inventory accuracy through proper system transactions and physical verification.
Monitor incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and compliance.
Support and mentor team members while assisting with onboarding and training.
Identify shipping discrepancies, inventory concerns, and operational issues and communicate them to leadership.
Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
Assist with cycle counts, inventory audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Promote a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For
Previous experience in shipping, receiving, warehouse operations, logistics, or manufacturing.
Prior leadership or team lead experience preferred.
Experience with ERP or warehouse management systems; ODOO experience is a plus.
Forklift experience preferred.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Basic computer skills and inventory system knowledge.
Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus but not required.

Physical Requirements
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.
Frequently lift and move materials up to 50 pounds.
Bend, twist, reach, and perform repetitive motions.
Safely work in a manufacturing and warehouse environment.
Must be agile and capable of working in confined or small spaces to safely load, position, and secure vehicles within transport trucks.
