This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Shopify Full Stack Developer based in Brazil.
This is a senior technical role focused on building and scaling high-performance, enterprise-grade eCommerce solutions within the Shopify ecosystem.
You will architect and develop complex full-stack applications using modern headless commerce approaches, combining Shopify with advanced frontend frameworks and backend services.
The role requires deep expertise in scalable system design, API integrations, and performance optimization across large-scale digital storefronts.
You will collaborate closely with product, design, DevOps, and QA teams to deliver robust and maintainable commerce platforms.
A strong focus is placed on building modular, reusable, and high-performance architectures capable of handling enterprise-level traffic and complexity.
You will also act as a technical leader, guiding engineering practices, conducting code reviews, and supporting architectural decisions.

- Architect and develop full-stack Shopify-based applications using headless frameworks such as Next.js, Remix, or React.
- Lead the development of scalable, modular, and high-performance eCommerce solutions with a strong focus on maintainability and performance.
- Build and optimize integrations between Shopify APIs (Storefront, Admin, Checkout) and third-party services such as ERPs, CRMs, and logistics platforms.
- Design and implement robust backend and middleware systems using Node.js, GraphQL, REST APIs, and serverless architectures.
- Develop and enhance applications using Gadget.dev and integrate them seamlessly with Shopify and external systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define technical requirements, architecture decisions, and delivery timelines.
- Conduct performance audits, optimize Core Web Vitals, and ensure storefront scalability under high traffic conditions.
- Mentor junior engineers, contribute to code reviews, and maintain strong engineering documentation and best practices.
- 5+ years of experience developing Shopify-based solutions, including Shopify Plus, Storefront API, Admin API, and Checkout customization.
- Strong expertise in Shopify Hydrogen, Oxygen, Liquid, Shopify Functions, and theme development.
- Advanced full-stack development skills with React, Next.js or Remix, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, and Node.js.
- Experience building backend services using Express.js, serverless functions, and modern API architectures.
- Strong knowledge of GraphQL and experience with tools like Apollo or Relay.
- Hands-on experience with Gadget.dev and headless CMS platforms such as Contentful or Sanity.
- Proven ability to design scalable, multi-tenant eCommerce architectures with localization and multi-region support.
- Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, Git workflows, and deployment tools such as GitHub Actions, Vercel, or Netlify.
- Strong communication skills, leadership abilities, and experience mentoring other developers.
- Nice to have: experience with performance optimization, A/B testing, enterprise Shopify deployments, or eCommerce scaling strategies.
