This role plays a critical part in ensuring the safety, reliability, and operational readiness of advanced military training aircraft. You will be responsible for maintaining aircraft in full airworthy and dispatch-ready condition within a highly regulated and mission-critical environment. Working alongside experienced aviation professionals, you will contribute directly to high-performance flight operations that support international defense training programs. The position demands precision, accountability, and strong technical judgment, as your work directly impacts mission safety and success. Accountabilities:
  • Ensure aircraft and components are maintained in full airworthy condition and ready for dispatch at all times.
  • Inspect, verify, and certify replacement parts prior to installation, ensuring full compliance with regulatory and company standards.
  • Accurately document all maintenance work, sign off on completed tasks, and ensure proper completion of technical records and forms.
  • Guarantee adherence to Canadian Aviation Regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and internal maintenance procedures.
  • Manage removed components by ensuring proper tagging, handling, and routing to quarantine processes.
  • Perform independent checks, receiving inspections, and other authorized quality assurance activities.
  • Support the training and development of junior personnel through on-the-job instruction when required.
  • Maintain up-to-date certifications, training validity, and compliance with all operational requirements.
  • Contribute to a safe, efficient, and compliant maintenance environment in line with corporate values.
Requirements:
  • Valid Transport Canada Aircraft Maintenance Engineer (TCCA AME) license in an approved discipline.
  • Minimum of 2 years of aircraft maintenance experience, ideally in commercial or military aviation.
  • Experience in line maintenance within fast-paced operational environments is strongly preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Canadian Aviation Regulations and aircraft maintenance documentation standards.
  • Eligibility to obtain and maintain Level II Government Security Clearance and Controlled Goods access in Canada.
  • Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and technical decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills in English and ability to collaborate effectively in team environments.
  • Capacity to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain a positive, safety-focused mindset.
  • Strong alignment with values of service, integrity, excellence, and teamwork.
Benefits:
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with aviation industry standards.
  • Flexible work schedule supporting operational and personal balance.
  • Comprehensive benefits plan including health and wellness coverage.
  • Opportunities for professional development, training, and career progression.
  • Exposure to international operations and collaboration with multicultural teams.
  • Highly safety-focused and values-driven work environment.
  • Stable, long-term employment within a specialized aviation sector.
