Technical Delivery Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Technical Delivery Manager based in the United States.

The Technical Delivery Manager will lead end-to-end technology delivery across multiple complex, enterprise-level workstreams, ensuring projects meet strategic objectives, timelines, and quality standards. This high-impact role combines technical program leadership, structured delivery governance, and strong client engagement. You will coordinate cross-functional teams spanning engineering, data, QA, DevOps, infrastructure, and business functions. Working closely with senior leadership and key stakeholders, you will drive planning, manage dependencies, and resolve delivery risks proactively. The role also oversees release readiness, deployment coordination, and post-launch stability. Success requires an experienced leader who can navigate ambiguity, build trusted relationships, and foster accountability across distributed teams.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of enterprise technology projects, ensuring alignment with program goals, architectural standards, delivery timelines, and quality expectations.

  • Develop delivery roadmaps, project plans, milestones, and execution strategies across multiple concurrent workstreams.

  • Define project scope, deliverables, dependencies, and governance processes using Agile/Scrum, hybrid, and other industry-standard project management methodologies.

  • Identify delivery risks and issues early, establish mitigation plans, manage escalations, and drive timely resolution.

  • Coordinate engineering, data, QA, product, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to support technical design discussions, solution reviews, and integration planning.

  • Facilitate working groups, solutioning sessions, delivery checkpoints, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain progress and alignment.

  • Serve as the primary delivery liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, client leadership, and delivery organizations, communicating status, risks, timelines, and dependencies clearly.

  • Oversee go-live planning, cutover coordination, runbook preparation, issue triage, defect management, and post-implementation support to ensure operational readiness and deployment stability.

  • Lead onshore and offshore teams, promoting collaboration, ownership, accountability, effective prioritization, and constructive conflict resolution.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in enterprise software delivery, project leadership, or technical program management.

  • Demonstrated success managing multiple large-scale, technology-intensive projects simultaneously.

  • Strong understanding of delivery governance, the software development lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum, and hybrid delivery methodologies.

  • Experience overseeing projects involving the Microsoft technology stack.

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, PySpark, or related data technologies is a plus.

  • Experience with data-driven platforms or audit-related technology solutions is advantageous.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, stakeholder management, and client engagement skills.

  • Strong analytical thinking, decision-making, prioritization, and problem-solving abilities.

  • Ability to navigate ambiguity, manage escalations, and lead high-pressure incident response or war-room situations.

  • High emotional intelligence, with the ability to support teams, resolve conflicts, manage expectations, and maintain productive relationships across distributed teams.

Benefits:
  • Compensation: Advertised compensation of $140,000–$160,000 per month. The source does not clarify whether this amount is monthly or annual, so the pay period should be confirmed with the hiring team.

  • Work arrangement: Remote position based in the United States.

  • Employment type: Full-time.

  • Professional impact: Opportunity to lead complex enterprise technology delivery, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and influence project execution and release outcomes.

  • Leadership exposure: Collaboration with senior delivery leadership, technical leaders, client stakeholders, and business teams.

  • Additional benefits, including healthcare, retirement plans, paid leave, and other perks, are not specified in the source description.
