Job Description

Senior Product Manager, Checkout

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager, Checkout based in Canada.

As a Senior Product Manager, you will own a critical part of the checkout journey, shaping how consumers understand and select their payment terms.
You will lead product strategy and execution at a high-impact moment where clarity, trust, and conversion matter most.
Working closely with Design, Engineering, Research, Analytics, Legal, and Compliance, you will turn customer insights into intuitive experiences.
You will use experimentation, behavioral data, and qualitative research to identify opportunities and validate product decisions.
The role offers significant ownership, from defining the roadmap and product vision through launch, measurement, and iteration.
You will also collaborate with international teams to adapt experiences for new markets while maintaining a consistent product ecosystem.
This is an opportunity to influence a high-scale consumer financial experience within a remote-first, highly collaborative product environment.

Accountabilities
  • Own the core checkout experience where consumers review and select payment terms, with a focus on improving conversion, clarity, confidence, and overall user experience.
  • Design, prioritize, and execute experiments that help consumers better understand and choose their payment options.
  • Define and launch new UX patterns and product experiences informed by user research, quantitative data, experimentation, and close partnership with Design and Analytics.
  • Partner with Legal and Compliance to understand regulatory requirements and incorporate them effectively into the customer experience.
  • Collaborate with international product teams to expand the terms experience into new markets while adapting to local customer expectations and maintaining a coherent design system.
  • Develop a deep understanding of consumer behavior and communicate actionable insights to product teams and stakeholders.
  • Build and drive an ambitious product roadmap by identifying high-impact opportunities, aligning cross-functional partners, and managing execution from discovery through launch and continuous improvement.
  • Establish strong working relationships across Product, Design, Engineering, Research, Analytics, Legal, and Compliance to drive alignment and deliver high-quality outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of professional Product Management experience, ideally with significant exposure to consumer-facing digital products.
  • Strong product and UX judgment, with an ability to recognize and create interactions that are clear, intuitive, polished, and engaging.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret data, evaluate experiments, and combine quantitative and qualitative insights to identify product opportunities.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute with a high degree of ownership, proactively identify priorities, and consistently deliver high-quality products.
  • Experience working effectively with cross-functional teams across Product, Design, Engineering, Analytics, and Research, building alignment without relying on formal authority.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to articulate product strategy, explain trade-offs, and create clarity among diverse stakeholders.
  • A growth-oriented and coachable mindset, with a willingness to seek feedback, learn quickly, and continuously improve.
  • Experience with checkout, e-commerce, fintech, payments, or other high-volume consumer experiences is considered an asset.
Benefits
  • Annual base salary range of $153,000–$213,000 CAD, with placement influenced by location, experience, and job-related skills.
  • Additional compensation may include equity rewards and other applicable components of the total compensation package.
  • Health, wellness, and technology spending allowances through flexible monthly stipends.
  • 100% employer-paid medical coverage, including coverage for eligible dependents.
  • Dental and vision coverage for employees and their dependents.
  • Flexible spending support for technology, food, lifestyle needs, and family-forming expenses.
  • Competitive vacation and holiday allowances to support rest and recharge.
  • Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP) offering the opportunity to purchase company shares at a discount.
  • Remote-first work environment, with most roles allowing employees to work remotely within Canada.
  • Reasonable accommodations available to support an inclusive interview and hiring experience.
  • This posting represents an existing vacancy.
