Forward Deployed Engineer / Full-Stack .NET/C# Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Forward Deployed Engineer / Full-Stack .NET/C# Engineer based in United States.

This is a senior engineering opportunity for an experienced full-stack developer who can make an immediate impact in a client-focused environment.
You will design, build, modernize, and support enterprise-grade applications across the full technology stack.
The role combines deep expertise in C#, .NET, ASP.NET, and Microsoft Azure with practical cloud engineering experience.
You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable, reliable solutions.
The position offers significant autonomy and requires someone comfortable taking ownership in a fast-moving environment.
You will contribute across development, APIs, cloud services, testing, deployment, troubleshooting, and production support.
This is an opportunity to bring strong engineering judgment to complex digital transformation initiatives.

Accountabilities
  • Design, develop, maintain, and modernize scalable full-stack applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, ASP.NET, and ASP.NET Core.
  • Build, enhance, and support cloud-based applications and services using Microsoft Azure.
  • Develop, integrate, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services for enterprise applications.
  • Contribute across both frontend and backend components, ensuring cohesive and reliable application experiences.
  • Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, optimize performance, and implement sustainable technical improvements.
  • Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to understand requirements, evaluate solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
  • Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
  • Apply secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-structured software engineering practices throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Support modernization initiatives by evaluating existing applications and identifying opportunities to improve architecture, performance, and maintainability.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of professional software development experience, with substantial recent hands-on full-stack engineering experience.
  • Strong proficiency in C#, .NET/.NET Core, ASP.NET/ASP.NET Core, and Microsoft Azure.
  • Demonstrated experience developing enterprise-grade applications, APIs, and cloud-based solutions.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, development methodologies, and engineering best practices.
  • Ability to work effectively across frontend and backend technologies and independently take ownership of complex engineering tasks.
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.
  • Experience with Azure services such as Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Storage, and Azure DevOps is preferred.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend technologies such as React, Angular, JavaScript, or TypeScript is preferred.
  • Experience with CI/CD, Git, automated testing, and DevOps practices is advantageous.
  • Experience working with large enterprise environments or consulting organizations is a plus.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be available to work during U.S. Eastern Time hours.
  • Must be available for an immediate interview and able to start immediately.
