Description:

Inventory Group Leader

Grade Level 5

The Inventory Group Leader is responsible for directing, instructing and assigning Stock Attendants in receiving, storing, and inventorying of Finished Goods.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Investigate and resolves Cycle Count variances
  • Enter Cycle Count into the system
  • Oversee the receiving and stocking of Finished Goods Manufactured and Resale and that the counts and identification at the locations are correct
  • Documents IP Discrepancies and corresponds by email those discrepancies to the manufacturing sites and resolves outstanding issues
  • Oversee that the Daily Sales Orders Due on In Transit IP’s from manufacturing facilities is worked
  • Work the IP’s Shipped/Not Received report
  • Process Scrap/Obsolete product requests
  • Handle internal emails and phone calls related to stock check and product receipt
  • Responsible for overseeing Pick, Pack and Shipping after the Shipping Group Leader has left for the day
  • Responsible for seeing that the CDC is appropriately closed down a the end of day
  • Take responsibility for Put away errors and communicates those errors to the associates
  • Oversee the Return to Stock cart is cleaned off weekly
  • Oversee the Receiving Clerk and his duties

Oversee the QC Inspector and his duties

Requirements:

Required Skills / Experience / Equipment Operation:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Warehouse experience preferred

Physical/Mental Essential Functions:

  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with assistance
  • Ability to climb stairs and ladders
  • Ability to use scanner/handheld device
  • Ability to count and sort
  • Ability to be efficient with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to communicate both verbally and written in an effective and professional manner
  • Proficiency in email, spreadsheets , document creation in Word, Google, and Excel
  • Ability to Supervise employees
  • Ability to identify, communicate, prevent and solve practical problems
  • Ability to motivate others
