Job Description
Bradley Construction Co., Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support the field management of multifamily construction projects throughout Florida. This position works directly with the Project Superintendent and project management team to coordinate subcontractors, maintain jobsite safety and quality, track progress, and help keep the project on schedule.

- Assist the Project Superintendent with daily field operations and project coordination.
- Coordinate and monitor subcontractors, vendors, deliveries, inspections, and onsite activities.
- Review drawings, specifications, submittals, RFIs, schedules, and other project documents.
- Conduct regular jobsite walks to monitor safety, workmanship, cleanliness, sequencing, and compliance with the contract documents.
- Help maintain short-term schedules, look-ahead plans, punch lists, and completion tracking.
- Identify field conflicts, incomplete work, and potential schedule impacts, and promptly communicate them to the project team.
- Verify that installed work conforms to approved plans, specifications, applicable codes, and Bradley’s quality standards.
- Document daily jobsite activities, labor, weather, deliveries, inspections, delays, and significant events.
- Assist with project photographs, daily reports, meeting documentation, and other project records.
- Help coordinate testing, inspections, temporary utilities, site logistics, material storage, and jobsite security.
- Participate in subcontractor meetings, safety meetings, owner-architect-contractor meetings, and project closeout activities.
- Assist with administrative and compliance documentation on federally or publicly funded projects, including certified payroll, Davis-Bacon wage determinations, Section 3 reporting, employee documentation, and applicable online compliance portals.
- Support the Superintendent and project management team with other field or administrative duties necessary to complete the project successfully.
- Construction field experience is preferred; multifamily, commercial, or affordable-housing experience is especially valuable.
- Working knowledge of construction drawings, specifications, building systems, sequencing, safety practices, and quality-control procedures.
- Ability to coordinate multiple subcontractors and follow issues through completion.
- Strong communication, organization, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using computers, tablets, email, Microsoft Office, and construction-management software. Procore experience is preferred.
- Experience with Davis-Bacon, certified payroll, Section 3, HUD, LIHTC, or other affordable-housing compliance requirements is helpful but not required.
- OSHA 30 certification is preferred or must be obtained after hire.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are required.
- Construction-management education is helpful but not required. Relevant field experience may substitute for formal education.
- Must be able to work primarily onsite and travel or temporarily relocate within Florida based on project assignments.
This position requires regular walking and standing on active construction sites, climbing stairs and ladders, working outdoors in varying weather conditions, and occasionally lifting or carrying construction-related materials or equipment. Compensation and BenefitsBase salary: $60,000–$100,000 per year, depending on experience, multifamily background, project complexity, and ability to assume field responsibilities.
