This senior commercial leadership role is focused on driving high-impact revenue growth within the U.S. financial services and banking technology ecosystem. The position is designed for a highly entrepreneurial sales leader who can build a business from the ground up, owning pipeline creation, deal execution, and strategic expansion across sponsor banks, fintechs, and regulated financial institutions. It requires deep market credibility and the ability to open senior-level relationships in complex, multi-stakeholder environments. Acting as both strategist and hands-on dealmaker, the role spans the full sales lifecycle from prospecting to contract closure. It is a highly visible position where commercial execution directly shapes market presence and long-term growth. The environment is fast-paced, competitive, and innovation-driven, requiring strong discipline, persistence, and ecosystem expertise. This is a 0-to-1 growth mandate with significant revenue accountability and strategic influence.
This role is responsible for building and closing new business opportunities across banking, fintech, and payments ecosystems, while establishing a scalable and disciplined sales motion.
- Drive end-to-end sales ownership including prospecting, qualification, solution positioning, negotiation, and deal closure across key financial services accounts.
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline across sponsor banks, fintechs, program managers, and regulated financial institutions.
- Open senior-level relationships and establish trusted access with executives, decision-makers, and ecosystem influencers.
- Lead deal execution in collaboration with pre-sales and solutions engineering teams, including demos, POCs, workshops, and solution design.
- Develop account strategies, stakeholder maps, business cases, and pricing inputs to advance complex enterprise deals.
- Support contract negotiation, onboarding transition, and early-stage client activation to ensure successful handover to delivery teams.
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and forums to generate visibility and new business opportunities.
- Maintain strong CRM discipline, pipeline accuracy, forecasting, and structured deal governance.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights to inform product positioning and commercial strategy.
This role requires a highly experienced sales leader with deep expertise in U.S. financial services, banking technology, and complex enterprise deal-making.
- 15+ years of experience in sales, business development, or commercial leadership, with at least 5+ years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record of building and scaling a multi-million-dollar pipeline or book of business from the ground up.
- Strong experience selling into banks, sponsor banks, fintechs, and regulated financial institutions.
- Established network and relationships across the U.S. banking and fintech ecosystem.
- Demonstrated ability to close complex, high-value enterprise deals in competitive environments.
- Strong consultative selling skills with the ability to translate technical solutions into business value.
- Experience collaborating with product, engineering, and pre-sales teams in solution-driven sales cycles.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and executive presence skills.
