The Opportunity
This is where your career finds its home
You have spent the better part of your career building expertise: navigating audits, closing the books, mentoring others, and keeping operations running when things get complicated. Now you are ready for something different.
This is a fully on-site role, embedded in the day-to-day rhythm of a company where your presence and engagement genuinely matter. The people who join us stay, because the work is meaningful, the team is strong, and the culture delivers on what it promises.
Who you are
You bring more than the numbers
Organized, calm under pressure, and the kind of person others come to when they need a clear-eyed read on where things stand. You are equally comfortable digging into project financials as you are explaining cost trends to someone who has never looked at a P&L. You know how to meet people where they are. You have learned that the best financial leaders are not gatekeepers; they are partners. Accessible, communicative, and genuinely invested in the success of the people around them.
A Day in the life
Grounded, hands-on, and always moving
Your morning might start with a review of banking activity, reconciliations, and financial reports before connecting with others to solve real problems and improve visibility across the business. Throughout the day you will oversee payroll processes, support audit preparation, strengthen financial systems, and help others understand the story behind the numbers. You use technology intentionally, always looking for the smarter approach, not just the faster one. No two days look exactly alike, and that is exactly how you like it.
This might be for you
- You have 5 or more years in construction or manufacturing accounting with senior-level responsibilities
- You can close the books cleanly, support an audit confidently, and keep a balance sheet balanced
- You embrace open-book management and believe that financial literacy makes the whole company stronger
- You use technology to work smarter and are always looking for a better way to get things done
- You are ready to stop interviewing for jobs and start building something that lasts
Success Looks Like
Your impact will be visible from day one
When someone across the organization has a financial question, they come to you first. The books close cleanly every month. The team grows more financially literate because of your investment in them. Leadership makes faster, smarter decisions because of the clarity you bring. At EPIC, you are not a support function; you are a strategic partner with autonomy, trust, and a seat at the table.
