Position: Director of Customer Care
FLSA: Salaried/Exempt
Location: 2252 N Broadway, Moore, OK 73160 and the Oklahoma City Metro
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (nights & weekends for emergencies)
General Purpose : Directing and Supervising the Customer Care Department.
Supervision Received : Works under the direct supervision of the Chief Operations Officer/Owner.
Supervision Exercised : Supervises the Customer Care office staff and Customer Care Service Techs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Responsible for managing all aspects of the Customer Care department
- Coordinate warranty cost management and assure best warranty cost management practices are being followed
- Assign special short term projects, yearly goals, and training schedules
- Present recommendations to COO and/or Presidents of Home Creations
- Recruit and hire all customer care department staff
- Approve invoices; manage key client and vendor warranty claims
- Monitor department reports and discuss/answer questions
- Ensure availability of parts, tools and other equipment for repairs, modifications and warranty support
- Mentor office staff; answer questions and provide guidance
- Conduct evaluations of warranty staff and maintain training program for staff
- Ensure that each customer receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging customers
- Attend weekly meetings and communicate progress reports; attend all staff meetings
- Monitor quality inspection reports and homeowner orientations
- Interact with customers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Perform minor repairs in residential homes
- Safety Sensitive Position
Minimum Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Construction or related field preferred
- 5 to 10 years of work related Director or Management-level experience
- Valid Oklahoma drivers license
- Reliable Transportation to travel throughout the OKC Metro area
Knowledge, Skills, and Ability :
- Knowledge of basic construction procedures
- Ability to coordinate, plan and administer
- Ability to manage personnel and budgets
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Multi-tasking skills
- Willingness to be a member of a dedicated team
Work Environment : Varies from office environment to outside work. The noise level varies depending on the environment.
Physical Demands : Occasionally required to sit and use their fingers, to handle or feel. Occasionally required to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, and to stoop or kneel. Must be able to carry equipment up to 30 lbs. Reasonable Accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the job. Exposure to outdoor work sites; dirt, dust, fumes, heat, cold, noise, odors, wetness, humidity, and darkness. Some bending stooping, climbing, reaching, crawling, lifting, carrying, and walking. Tool and Equipment : Computer, telephone, and General office equipment. Must provide own tools!
