You will play a strategic role in shaping and evolving the cloud foundation that supports a large-scale and high-availability technology platform. This position focuses on designing scalable, secure, and resilient cloud architectures while creating reusable infrastructure standards that accelerate engineering teams across the organization. You will work hands-on with AWS services, Infrastructure as Code, observability, automation, and cloud-native solutions in a collaborative and innovation-driven environment. The role requires balancing technical excellence with operational efficiency, contributing to architectural reviews, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives. You will also partner closely with development, product, and architecture teams as a cloud reference specialist. • Design scalable, resilient, and secure cloud architectures aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework best practices.
• Evaluate architectural trade-offs considering performance, reliability, scalability, security, operational excellence, and cloud cost optimization.
• Implement and evolve cloud infrastructure solutions with a focus on automation, availability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
• Define reusable infrastructure standards and frameworks to support engineering productivity and platform consistency.
• Automate operational processes through Infrastructure as Code (IaC), scripting, and CI/CD practices.
• Maintain observability solutions including logs, metrics, and tracing to ensure full visibility across cloud environments.
• Collaborate with development, product, and architecture teams, contributing as a technical reference for cloud engineering decisions.
• Participate in architecture reviews, code reviews, incident resolution, and root cause analysis for critical systems.
• Research and evaluate new AWS technologies and propose improvements to platform architecture and cloud operations.

• Strong professional experience designing and implementing cloud architectures on AWS.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services across compute, networking, databases, storage, and security domains.
• Solid understanding of AWS Well-Architected Framework principles and cloud-native architecture patterns.
• Experience with serverless and event-driven architectures using services such as AWS Lambda, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, and Step Functions.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CDK, Terraform, or CloudFormation.
• Experience with containers and orchestration platforms including Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes.
• Strong networking knowledge including VPCs, VPNs, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, security groups, and NACLs.
• Proficiency with Linux environments, scripting languages, and automation practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, observability tools, and database optimization for relational or NoSQL systems.
• Familiarity with security best practices in cloud environments including IAM, encryption, secrets management, and compliance standards.
• Ability to create technical documentation and architecture diagrams with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Technical English proficiency for reading and written communication.
• Differential: AWS certifications, FinOps, DevSecOps, fintech or regulated environments, Chaos Engineering, service mesh technologies, or programming experience with Python, Go, Java, or Node.js.
