Job Description

Description:

Interview patients and document basic medical history.
Organize and schedule appointments.
Update and file medical records and insurance reports.
Execute Treatment Prior-Authorizations with insurance.
Log all treatments, charts, and patient monitoring forms accurately.
Check for medication expirations.
Keep a detailed record of treatment productivity.
Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
Work closely with the MD, PA’s, and NP’s to ensure open communication.
Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
Administer Esketamine treatment (Spravato).
Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
Become TMS Certified under the supervision under the MD.

Requirements:

Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant or Treatment Assistant.
Knowledge of medical office management systems, procedures, and EMR’s.
Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, & prioritize work.
Effective communication skills.
Strong organizational and planning skills.
Extremely Detail Oriented.
Proficiency in Excel and patient management software.
