Job Description

Description:
  • Interview patients and document basic medical history.
  • Organize and schedule appointments.
  • Update and file medical records and insurance reports.
  • Execute Treatment Prior-Authorizations with insurance.
  • Log all treatments, charts, and patient monitoring forms accurately.
  • Check for medication expirations.
  • Keep a detailed record of treatment productivity.
  • Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes, and forms.
  • Work closely with the MD, PA’s, and NP’s to ensure open communication.
  • Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments.
  • Administer Esketamine treatment (Spravato).
  • Administer Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS).
  • Become TMS Certified under the supervision under the MD.
Requirements:
  • Proven working experience as a Medical Assistant or Treatment Assistant.
  • Knowledge of medical office management systems, procedures, and EMR’s.
  • Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, & prioritize work.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills.
  • Extremely Detail Oriented.
  • Proficiency in Excel and patient management software.
