Medical Assistant - Symphony Spine, Pain and Neuro Alliance

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant I to support our healthcare providers and enhance patient experiences. The Duties of the Medical Assistant Consist Of:

  • Explaining procedures to patients, positioning patients and equipment
  • Operate C-arm during procedures
  • Uploading images to medical record
  • Maintaining and operating fluoroscopy equipment
  • Stocking the procedure suite
  • Obtaining prior authorizations
  • Sterilizing instruments
  • Managing radiation badges
  • Setting up sterile procedure trays
  • Managing sharps/biohazard disposals.
  • Responsible for rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
  • Follow infection control policies and procedures
  • Collect specimens for all necessary testing
  • Interpersonal skills needed to interact with patients, family members and healthcare team

Job Type: Full-time

Requirements:

Skills and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a Medical Assistant certification program preferred
