Job Description

Product Designer, Growth (Senior/Staff-Level)

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Product Designer, Growth (Senior/Staff-Level) in France.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a senior design professional to shape the experiences that define how users discover, adopt, and integrate AI-powered video creation into their daily workflows. Working at the heart of the growth function, you will tackle complex challenges related to onboarding, activation, retention, and product adoption. The role combines strategic product thinking with hands-on design execution, requiring close collaboration with product managers and engineers to rapidly test, refine, and scale impactful experiences. You will influence critical business metrics while helping transform emerging AI capabilities into intuitive, user-centered solutions. Operating in a fast-paced, experimentation-driven environment, you will have significant autonomy to challenge assumptions, shape product direction, and drive meaningful outcomes. This position is ideal for designers who thrive on solving ambiguous, high-impact problems and delivering measurable growth through exceptional user experiences.

Accountabilities:
  • Redesign and optimize onboarding experiences, first-time user journeys, and early product interactions to improve activation and long-term retention.
  • Translate complex growth challenges into intuitive user flows, prototypes, and scalable product experiences.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers and Engineers to identify opportunities, validate solutions, and drive key growth metrics.
  • Design and execute experiments that accelerate learning and uncover high-impact opportunities for user engagement.
  • Elevate early-stage concepts, AI-generated prototypes, and exploratory ideas into polished, scalable product solutions.
  • Challenge existing assumptions, workflows, and interaction patterns to improve user outcomes and business performance.
  • Contribute to design critiques, product discussions, and strategic planning to raise the overall quality of product thinking.
  • Mentor and support other designers while helping strengthen design excellence across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience as a Product Designer operating at a senior, staff, or equivalent level within high-growth technology environments.
  • Proven ability to influence product strategy and business outcomes beyond visual or interaction design execution.
  • Strong track record of improving user activation, engagement, retention, or adoption metrics within self-serve or product-led growth businesses.
  • Deep understanding of user-centered design principles, experimentation methodologies, and data-informed decision-making.
  • Experience designing complex workflows, onboarding systems, or creation tools with significant user interaction challenges.
  • Ability to work effectively in fast-moving environments where rapid experimentation and iteration are essential.
  • Strong prototyping skills and comfort collaborating in AI-native product development workflows.
  • Experience partnering closely with engineering teams and balancing technical constraints with user experience goals.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence cross-functional decision-making.
  • Ability to synthesize qualitative research, behavioral insights, and quantitative data into actionable design strategies.
  • Passion for solving ambiguous, zero-to-one product challenges where the optimal solution is not immediately clear.

Benefits:

  • Competitive compensation package including salary and equity.
  • Fully remote-friendly role available across the United Kingdom and Europe.
  • 25 days of annual leave plus local public holidays.
  • Work-from-home budget to support a productive remote setup.
  • Work-from-anywhere flexibility for up to 60 days per year.
  • Regular team offsites and in-person collaboration opportunities.
  • Generous employee referral program with substantial rewards for successful referrals.
  • Opportunity to play a defining role in the next phase of growth for a rapidly scaling AI product.
  • Collaborative environment with strong autonomy, ownership, and career development opportunities
