Architect in Reston, Virginia at Inadev

RESPONSIBILITES:

• Define overall system architecture, components and technology stack.
• Use established architectural design patterns to address system organization, interfaces and external integrations, data security and integrity, high availability and redundancy.
• Define and own the technical implementation roadmap for the architecture.
• Create IaCs (infrastructure as code) using Terraform to instantiate and manage large applications and their underlying infrastructure.
• Deploy and manage K8s (Kubernetes) clusters.
• Secure cloud environments, build security quality gates in the CI/CD pipelines.

NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Must be willing to work a HYRBID Schedule (3 Days) in Reston, VA & client locations in the Washington D.C. area as required.
• Ability to pass a 7-year background check and obtain/maintain a U.S. Government Clearance
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS:

• Must possess a Bachelor degree in a Technical Discipline (i.e. Computer Science, Information Technology Management or Engineering)
• Must possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in the Information Technology field, DevSecOps, AI/ML engineering projects, and technical architecture specifically. Comparable relevant work experience may be substituted for degree requirements and is determined by the government on a case-by-case basis.
• Shall possess strong architecture & design experience, including at least 3 years of experience deploying production enterprise applications in AWS.
• Shall have experience in large-scale, high-performance enterprise big data application deployment and solution architecture on complex heterogeneous environments in AWS.
• Must have experience defining overall system architecture, components and technology stack.
• Must have experience establishing/developing architectural design patterns to address system organization, interfaces and external integrations, data security and integrity, high availability and redundancy.
• Must be familiar with paradigms such as Microservices Based Architecture, Event Driven Architecture and Domain Driven Design
• Must be able to define and own the technical implementation roadmap for the architecture
• Must possess strong programming experience in either Java OR Python OR PERL.
• Must possess extensive hands-on experience with building operating systems and applications running on cloud platforms (specifically with AWS).
• Must have experience creating IaCs (infrastructure as code) using Terraform to instantiate and manage large applications and their underlying infrastructure.
• Must have hands-on experience in creating Docker images and containerization.
• Must have hands-on experience deploying and managing K8s (Kubernetes) clusters.
• Must have hands-on experience securing cloud environments, building security quality gates in the CI/CD pipelines.
