This role is a creative storytelling position focused on transforming complex business, product, and customer narratives into compelling video content for a global audience. You will work at the intersection of documentary-style editing, motion design, and narrative production to craft engaging learning and enablement experiences. The role involves shaping raw footage—interviews, field recordings, stock assets, and AI-generated visuals—into polished, story-driven content with strong emotional and educational impact. You will collaborate closely with producers, writers, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between storytelling and business objectives. In addition to hands-on editing, you will contribute to creative direction and help elevate the quality and consistency of video output across the team. This is an opportunity for a highly skilled editor who thrives in fast-paced, collaborative environments and enjoys turning complexity into clear, impactful visual stories.

Accountabilities:
  • Edit raw footage into high-quality, narrative-driven video content ready for final delivery
  • Build compelling documentary-style story arcs using interviews, field footage, and mixed media assets
  • Produce a wide range of content formats including explainer videos, episodic content, interviews, and short-form enablement pieces
  • Translate complex product and business concepts into clear, engaging visual storytelling for global audiences
  • Apply advanced editing techniques including color grading, sound design, pacing, and finishing
  • Design and integrate motion graphics, titles, and visual elements to enhance narrative clarity and engagement
  • Collaborate with producers, writers, designers, and stakeholders throughout the production process
  • Provide creative input and editorial guidance to support consistency and elevate team output
  • Ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines, tone, and communication objectives
  • Continuously explore new storytelling formats, tools, and editing techniques to improve production quality

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of professional experience in video editing with a strong focus on storytelling
  • Proven expertise in documentary-style editing using interviews and unscripted footage
  • Advanced proficiency in industry-standard tools such as Premiere Pro, After Effects, and DaVinci Resolve
  • Strong understanding of narrative structure, pacing, and emotional storytelling techniques
  • Experience creating and integrating motion graphics to support visual storytelling
  • Ability to simplify complex ideas into engaging, easy-to-understand video content
  • Experience working in collaborative, cross-functional production environments
  • Strong time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects under tight deadlines
  • Background in branded content, documentary filmmaking, or educational media is an asset
  • Experience mentoring or guiding other editors is a plus

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range aligned with Canadian market standards ($75,000 – $110,000 CAD)
  • Performance-based bonuses, stock grants, and comprehensive compensation package
  • Fully remote or flexible work arrangements depending on role requirements
  • Opportunity to work on global-scale storytelling and enablement content
  • Creative and innovative environment focused on experimentation and storytelling excellence
  • Strong culture of belonging, inclusion, and collaboration
  • Career growth opportunities within a world-class creative and technology organization
  • Access to modern tools, workflows, and emerging AI-assisted production techniques
