Job Description

Frontend Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Frontend Engineer based in the United States.

This role sits at the intersection of modern financial infrastructure and product engineering, focused on building user experiences for next-generation cross-border payment and settlement systems. You will design and develop interfaces that power both internal operational tools and external customer-facing applications used by businesses and financial institutions globally. The environment is fast-moving, highly collaborative, and deeply technical, requiring strong ownership and an ability to turn complex financial workflows into intuitive digital experiences. You will contribute to reusable frontend architecture and design systems that support scalable product expansion across multiple regions. This is a hands-on engineering role where your work directly shapes how users interact with regulated financial infrastructure. You’ll collaborate closely with product, engineering, and external stakeholders to refine and ship impactful features. The team values autonomy, adaptability, and strong execution in an early-stage, high-impact setting.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain scalable frontend applications, contributing to reusable component libraries and consistent design systems across products.
  • Translate complex financial workflows into clear, intuitive user interfaces for both internal tools and external customer platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to define requirements, refine features, and deliver production-ready solutions.
  • Develop high-quality, well-tested code with strong attention to performance, accessibility, and reliability.
  • Participate in user testing and feedback loops with clients and end users to validate design and functionality before release.
  • Contribute to documentation, including technical guides, flow diagrams, and implementation notes to support cross-team alignment.
  • Leverage user behavior data and analytics to iterate on UI/UX improvements and optimize product flows.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of experience as a Frontend Engineer, ideally in fast-paced product or platform environments.
  • Strong proficiency with modern web technologies such as TypeScript, React, and related frameworks, with exposure to NextJS and Tailwind CSS preferred.
  • Experience collaborating across product, design, and engineering teams to deliver end-to-end features.
  • Strong understanding of building scalable, reusable UI components and design systems.
  • Ability to work with complex, data-heavy applications and translate them into clean user experiences.
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, problem-solving mindset.
  • Experience in fintech, payments, or crypto is a plus but not required.
Benefits:
  • Remote-first work environment with global collaboration across distributed teams.
  • High ownership culture where engineers contribute directly to product direction and technical decisions.
  • Opportunity to work on early-stage infrastructure shaping the future of global financial systems.
  • Fast-paced, impact-driven environment with significant autonomy and responsibility.
  • Exposure to complex, real-world financial systems used by businesses and institutions.
  • Collaborative culture emphasizing adaptability, initiative, and continuous learning.
