Job Description – Commercial DZ Driver

Peak Processing Solutions, a leading cannabis beverage and product manufacturer based in Windsor, Ontario, is seeking a skilled, dependable, and safety-focused Commercial DZ Driver to support our growing logistics and distribution operations. This role is responsible for transporting finished products, raw materials, and packaging supplies between our production facility, off-site storage locations, and provincial distributors across Ontario while maintaining compliance, product integrity, and service excellence.


Key Responsibilities

Operate a single axle 26-foot dry van straight truck safely and efficiently in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.Transport finished and unfinished cannabis products to provincial distributors and off-site storage facilities across Ontario.Pick up and deliver raw materials, packaging supplies, and operational materials within the region.Stage, prepare, load, secure, and verify outbound shipments for transport.Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report defects in accordance with regulatory and company requirements.Complete all required transportation documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), shipment records, inspection reports, and staging documentation.Maintain strict chain-of-custody and inventory control protocols for regulated cannabis products.Ensure shipment accuracy, cargo integrity, and compliance throughout loading, transport, and delivery activities.Operate and maintain material-handling equipment in accordance with Peak’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).Follow all applicable CVOR, Hours of Service (HOS), Electronic Logging Device (ELD), and Ministry of Transportation (MTO) requirements.Support occasional overtime, weekend deliveries, and schedule adjustments to meet business and customer requirements.Perform additional logistics and operational duties as assigned.This role will be driving from Windsor to the GTA and surrounding areas, day trips only no overnight required.


Experience & Qualifications

Valid Ontario Class DZ Driver’s LicenseMinimum 3 years of commercial driving experience with letter from a previous insurerClean Commercial Driver Abstract (CDA)Ability to successfully complete a Criminal Record Check (CPIC)Experience transporting regulated, temperature-sensitive, or consumer packaged goods is considered an assetWorking knowledge of CVOR, HOS, ELD, MTO regulations, and vehicle inspection requirementsForklift and warehouse handling experience is considered an assetStrong organizational, communication, and documentation skillsSelf-motivated, dependable, and committed to safety and operational excellence
