Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Psychiatrist (MD/DO) to join an innovative outpatient behavioral health practice specializing in ketamine and esketamine therapies for treatment-resistant mental health conditions. This physician will serve as a clinical leader and collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

This opportunity is ideal for psychiatrists interested in psychedelic medicine, research, and helping expand access to emerging psychiatric treatments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and follow-up visits for patients receiving ketamine and esketamine therapy.

• Administer and oversee ketamine/esketamine treatments and determine individualized dosing.

• Evaluate medical clearances and manage higher-risk patients to ensure treatment safety.

• Collaborate with nurse practitioners, physician assistants, therapists, and support staff to provide integrated care.

• Coordinate treatment plans with referring providers and outside clinicians.

• Supervise and mentor residents, fellows, and clinical team members.

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, research activities, and educational opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry.

• Active Maryland medical license.

• Active DEA registration.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with ketamine or esketamine treatments.

• Leadership or supervisory experience.

• Interest in psychedelic medicine and innovative treatment approaches.

• Academic, research, or publication experience.
