We are seeking multiple highly skilled Systems Administrators to deliver critical on-site functional and technical infrastructure support at multiple locations, including Northern Virginia; Dahlgren, VA; Huntsville, AL; Colorado Springs, CO; and Albuquerque, NM. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex technology and procurement operations, ensuring the seamless execution of automated e-business systems.
Acting as a trusted technical advisor, you will maintain the security, efficiency, and compliance of vital data systems while translating advanced technical architecture into clear, actionable guidance for non-technical users. This position offers a premier opportunity to directly impact mission readiness by optimizing the organization's contract writing and transaction environments. You will lead daily administrator operations using specialized tools—including 4th Estate Electronic Contract Writing Modules, automated procurement tools, and Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) modules—while running Interactive SQL scripts, managing security models, and conducting workforce-wide training. Hiring for these positions is contingent upon successful contract award.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site functional and technical support as a system administrator, communicating a variety of government automated enterprise business systems to non-technical users across multiple directorates and program offices.
- Provide ongoing support of the business and technology environment by sustaining efforts to increase efficiency and effectiveness of business and transactional operations.
- Promote and maintain guidelines affecting government regulation, compliance, and the security of data reporting and retention.
- Provide daily system administrator support utilizing the latest deployed versions of DoD contract writing modules, enterprise business integration technologies, and associated security models.
- Execute security model tasks, handle vendor and organizational maintenance, run Interactive Structured Query Language (SQL) scripts, utilize data integrity tools, and manage Procurement Data Standard Validations.
- Support the Federal Procurement Data System (FPDS) Contract Action Report (CAR) creation and authentication processes.
- Manage user accounts, functioning as a procurement business system administrator performing administration tasks, answering end-user questions, troubleshooting actions, and resolving unexpected issues.
- Respond to data calls, as directed, for various Department of Defense (DoD) e-business automated business systems including contract writing, execution, post-award management systems, and all PIEE modules and capabilities.
- Manage administrator tasks for the General Services Administration (GSA) System for Award Management (SAM.gov) federal award system.
- Perform functional and technical training to the workforce on various federal and DoD procurement business systems, processes, and best practices.
- Develop and provide updated standard operating procedures, desk guides, internal how-to guides, and checklists to support internal service desk operations and self-help material for the workforce.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Information Management Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Based on experience/level, a minimum of seven (7) to ten (10) years of systems administration and customer service/help desk experience.
- Based on experience/level a minimum of five (5) to eight (8) years of experience/proficiency in DoD Contract Writing Systems, WAWF/WAWF E-Business/PIEE, Office SharePoint Services, Search Administration, Workflow Management, and External Service Connections.
- Certified Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation or Higher.
- Active CompTIA Security+ Certification.
- DAWIA Certification (or equivalent) in Contracting or Program Management.
- Active Secret Clearance Required.
