As the Director, Strategic Alliances, you will lead the Credit Union's strategic partnership and Select Employee Group (SEG) initiatives to drive membership growth, deepen community relationships, and expand lending and deposit opportunities. Serving as the primary relationship manager for key employer groups and strategic partners, you'll create meaningful partnerships that deliver value to both our members and the organizations we serve. What You'll Do
- Develop and execute the Credit Union's strategic alliance and Select Employee Group (SEG) growth strategy to increase membership, loans, deposits, and overall relationship value.
- Serve as the primary relationship manager for assigned Anchor SEGs and strategic partners, building trusted executive-level relationships and identifying opportunities to expand engagement.
- Deliver a concierge-level partnership experience by collaborating with Retail Banking, Lending, Marketing, Business Services, and other internal teams to provide customized financial solutions.
- Design and implement strategic engagement initiatives, including financial wellness programs, employee onboarding events, educational workshops, onsite visits, and targeted outreach campaigns.
- Identify, cultivate, negotiate, and onboard new employer groups, affinity organizations, and strategic partners that align with the Credit Union's growth objectives.
- Represent the Credit Union at employer meetings, community organizations, networking events, industry associations, and business development activities to strengthen brand awareness and generate new business opportunities.
- Partner with Marketing and business line leaders to develop promotional campaigns, communication strategies, and business development initiatives that support partner engagement and member acquisition.
- Monitor partnership performance by analyzing membership growth, loan production, deposit growth, product penetration, and overall relationship profitability, providing recommendations to executive leadership.
- Ensure all partnership activities comply with Credit Union policies, regulatory requirements, and sound risk management practices while maintaining appropriate documentation and reporting.
- Stay informed of industry trends, competitive intelligence, and emerging market opportunities to recommend innovative partnership strategies that support long-term organizational growth.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, Management, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- Seven to ten years of progressive experience in financial services, business development, relationship management, strategic partnerships, commercial sales, or leadership.
- Proven success developing strategic partnerships that drive measurable business growth and strengthen organizational relationships.
- Experience building and managing executive-level relationships using a consultative, solution-oriented approach.
- Strong understanding of consumer lending, mortgage lending, deposit products, business development, and relationship management within the financial services industry.
- Exceptional presentation, negotiation, networking, and executive communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to evaluate partnership performance, identify opportunities, and develop strategic growth initiatives.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and business reporting tools.
- Self-motivated and results-driven with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across multiple business units.
- Willingness to travel regularly to employer locations, partner organizations, community events, and industry meetings.

In alignment with our commitment to pay transparency, we're pleased to share that the base range for this position is $135,000 - $150,000 per year, excluding fringe benefits or potential incentives. If you're hired, your final base pay will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and experience. We also take pay equity seriously and consider the internal equity of our current team members as part of any final offer.
