This anticipated position will support Air Force Civil Engineer Center operations, facilities, test ranges, laboratories, and research, development, test, and evaluation activities at Tyndall Air Force Base.

Perform one of the two required Logistics positions with primary emphasis on work control, Government work-order system use, scheduling, status tracking, reporting, database accuracy, purchase documentation, and completion evidence. The role remains fully responsible for the applicable Air Force logistics, equipment-accountability, TMDE, PMI, CTK, and classified-support duties. The final title will be aligned to the released solicitation and confirmed system; Maximo experience is preferred but Maximo is not assumed.

This role supports a potential contract.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive, record, route, monitor, update, reconcile, and close tasks in the Government-provided work-order system; maintain work-unit numbers, priorities, due dates, labor status, completion evidence, and aging visibility.
  • Coordinate work requirements with Government representatives, the Onsite Contract Lead, project managers, trades, laboratory, fabrication, safety, and logistics personnel.
  • Develop daily and weekly status views, open-work aging reports, incident records, completion packages, monthly technical inputs, and other database or inspection reports required by the contract.
  • Reconcile after-hours and emergency calls received through the TFS 24/7/365/366 Call Center with the Government system on the first normal business day.
  • Update and maintain Inventory Management or equivalent databases, CA/CRLs, MELs, TMDE, PMI, CTK, equipment turn-in, purchase, delivery, and calibration records.
  • Perform logistics compliance reviews, analyze performance history, identify overdue or deficient documentation, and support corrective action and follow-up validation.
  • Support acquisition tracking, market research, substitute-product recommendations, quote collection, purchase-request documentation, delivery tracking, Government signatures, and status reporting.
  • Support TODO, PMEL, TMDE, equipment-custodian, technical-order, CTK, DLA/DRMO, WEBFLIS, COMSEC, and classified-project functions as assigned.
  • Protect classified and sensitive information, comply with system-access controls, and maintain accurate auditable records.
  • Assist other trades with equipment movement, facility repair, test articles, and project manpower when required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Technical training equivalent to an associate degree; an associate degree is preferred by the anticipated PWS.
  • At least two years of supply, logistics, work-control, maintenance-control, equipment-management, or related experience is strongly preferred and will be used as the minimum recruiting screen unless the final solicitation changes the requirement.
  • Knowledge of logistics management, Integrated Logistics Support planning/execution, equipment accountability, inventories, and database-driven records.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with work-order, CMMS, logistics, asset, maintenance, reporting, spreadsheet, document, and database systems.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain the Secret clearance, classified-system access, and installation credentials required by the final contract; active Secret clearance is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to prepare accurate reports, correspondence, checklists, status summaries, logs, and audit-ready supporting documentation.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with IBM Maximo, other enterprise CMMS/EAM platforms, Government work-order systems, LSEP, or comparable maintenance-control operations.
  • Experience supporting federal monthly reporting, purchase requests, quotes, ODC tracking, and contractor/Government property records.

Contract Requirements

  • Ability to work onsite at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, and satisfy installation access requirements.
