We partner with people to identify meaningful career opportunities and provide customized employment supports that foster long-term success and independence in the workplace.

Residential Services

Our residential programs provide individualized supports that help people live safely, independently, and as active members of their communities while honoring each person's goals and preferences. This is 24 hour supports working in a home setting with multiple people.

Supported Living & In-Home Services

We provide customized supports that help people maintain independence in their own homes and communities. Services are tailored to each individual's unique needs and personal goals. These are one on one supports in people's homes and communities.

Children's Services

Our Children's Services focus on helping children thrive in safe, nurturing, and supportive environments. We promote growth, independence, and meaningful community participation. This is 24 hour supports in a home setting with 2 to 3 children living together.

As an Employment Manager at ALSO, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities have access to meaningful work and career growth. Position Overview:

As an Employment Manager at ALSO, you will oversee the daily operations of employment services in connection with our Associate Director, ensuring individuals receiving support have access to meaningful and sustainable work. You will lead a team of Employment Professionals, provide mentorship, and collaborate with employers, families, and community partners to create inclusive workplaces. This role is key in maintaining high-quality employment services and empowering individuals to reach their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Oversight & Supervision: Lead and support Employment Professionals by overseeing daily operations, scheduling staff, and ensuring quality service delivery. Training & Development: Guide and mentor staff on best practices in employment support, including job coaching, documentation, and individual support plans. Individualized Support: Assist with developing and implementing individual employment plans and goals while fostering independence and professional growth for the people we serve. Compliance & Documentation: Ensure timely and accurate completion of required employment ISP documents, progress notes, and billing records. Collaboration & Advocacy: Work closely with families, residential providers, service coordinators, and employers to address challenges, celebrate successes, and advocate for inclusive workplaces. Community Engagement: Build relationships with local businesses and organizations to create employment opportunities and expand community awareness of ALSO’s mission.

Compensation:

Salary: $49,146.88 - $58,389.69 annually, based on experience, education, and Veteran status. Paid Training: Gain valuable skills in leadership, employment support strategies, and professional development.

Qualifications:

Experience in job coaching, vocational counseling, human services, or employment support services. Ability to lead and support a team while managing multiple responsibilities. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to travel within the community and provide support across various job sites. High school diploma/GED required; associate’s degree or higher preferred. Prior experience working in I/DD support services is strongly preferred.
