Sr Software Development Engineer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Sr Software Development Engineer based in United States.

This role offers the opportunity to build secure, scalable, and intuitive user experiences within a fast-growing cybersecurity SaaS environment.
You will design and deliver front-end solutions that help organizations manage complex identity security challenges across cloud and on-premise systems.
Working at the intersection of engineering, product, and design, you will create polished interfaces, dashboards, and workflows used by enterprise customers.
The position requires strong technical ownership, a passion for quality, and the ability to solve complex user experience challenges.
You will contribute to architecture decisions, improve engineering practices, and help shape modern front-end development standards.

Accountabilities:

The Senior Software Development Engineer will be responsible for designing and delivering reliable, accessible, and high-performance front-end experiences. This role requires ownership of complex product features, close collaboration with engineering and product partners, and a commitment to building exceptional user experiences.

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end applications, interfaces, dashboards, and workflows.
  • Build intuitive experiences for complex, data-heavy environments involving identity security, analytics, and enterprise workflows.
  • Contribute to front-end architecture, reusable component libraries, and design system improvements.
  • Partner with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to transform concepts and requirements into polished solutions.
  • Design and integrate APIs while optimizing data retrieval, performance, and user feedback loops.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code while participating actively in code reviews and engineering discussions.
  • Champion accessibility, usability, performance, and engineering best practices across the development lifecycle.
  • Mentor other engineers and share expertise to improve front-end development standards and team effectiveness.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is an experienced front-end engineer with strong expertise in modern web development, enterprise SaaS applications, and user-focused engineering. They should combine technical depth with strong collaboration skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality software.

  • Strong experience building front-end applications using modern JavaScript frameworks, with Angular and TypeScript preferred; experience with React or Vue is also valuable.
  • Deep knowledge of TypeScript and modern front-end architecture, including component design, state management, monorepos, and design systems.
  • Hands-on experience using AI-powered coding assistants such as Claude Code or similar agentic development tools to deliver production-quality software.
  • Experience building and consuming REST or GraphQL APIs and integrating with cloud-based backend services.
  • Experience with data visualization and dashboard technologies such as D3, Chart.js, or Highcharts.
  • Strong understanding of accessibility standards, including WCAG, as well as performance optimization and usability principles.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end testing strategies and quality assurance practices.
  • Experience developing cloud-hosted SaaS applications, preferably within AWS environments.
  • Strong ownership mindset, attention to detail, and ability to balance technical excellence with practical delivery.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across engineering, product, and design teams.
