Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

Position Details
  • Schedule: Full-time preferred; part-time opportunities also available
  • Location: Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Mileage: Mileage reimbursement provided
  • Schedule Flexibility: Flexible scheduling options available, with the potential for part-time hours to grow into a full-time position

CNA Responsibilities
  • Provide CNA-level care to home health and hospice patients in their homes or other places of residence, within the scope of training and certification.
  • Perform covered aide services according to Medicare home health and hospice guidelines.
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and other personal care needs based on assessments, individualized care plans, and direction from nursing management.
  • Provide care under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Develop positive and professional relationships with patients, families, physicians, interdisciplinary team members, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Monitor patients and promptly report changes or concerns to the appropriate member of the care team.
  • Accurately document observations, services provided, and patient care in a timely manner.
  • Safely and appropriately use patient-care equipment within the CNA's training and competency, including wheelchairs, hospital beds, side rails, oxygen equipment, and other applicable medical equipment.
  • Follow established care plans, safety procedures, and organizational standards while providing respectful and compassionate care.
Required Licenses & Certifications
  • Active Utah CNA certification
  • Current CPR certification
  • Valid Utah driver’s license
  • Current automobile insurance

Job Type: Part-time/full-time, Competitive pay.
