Bakery Warehouse Team Member - PT in Kent, Washington at Woods Coffee

The Warehouse Station plays an essential role in supporting bakery operations by accurately receiving deliveries, rotating inventory, preparing ingredients, and maintaining clean and organized storage areas. By prioritizing consistency, food safety, and teamwork, you help ensure our bakery continues operating at the highest level and our guests receive products that surpass the ordinary.

Position Details:
This position is for an entry-level warehouse bakery employee with little or no warehouse or culinary experience.

Responsibilities:
・Follows Woods Coffee operational and safety policies and procedures.
・Receives and accurately checks vendor deliveries.
・Rotates and stocks ingredients according to FIFO standards.
・Organizes and maintains all warehouse, refrigerator, and freezer storage areas.
・Assembles boxes and prepares products efficiently for bakery production.
・Performs prep work including cutting, scooping, and pre-weighing ingredients.
・Maintains ingredient pars and communicates inventory needs.
・Maintains cleanliness and sanitation standards throughout the warehouse and prep areas.
・Follows health, safety, and sanitation guidelines set by Woods Coffee and local health departments.
・Maintains regular and punctual attendance.
・Cross trained on a variety of bakery support stations as needed.

Schedule: 6am - 2pm, Friday - Sunday / Monday.

Location: This job is at our Kent Commissary Bakery.

Compensation: This position is $17.13 per hour.

Essential Job Functions:
・Repeated heavy lifting. Must be able to lift 50lb above head.
・Constant standing, walking, stooping, bending, and squatting.
・Frequently using hands, wrists, and arms in repetitive motions.
・Pushing, pulling, lifting, and moving products throughout the warehouse.
・Working in refrigerated and freezer environments as needed.
・Regular in person attendance.

Requirements:
・Food Handlers permit obtained through the local health department.
・Age Requirement: This position requires the use of equipment that is regulated by state law, and as such, applicants must be at least 18 years old to qualify for this role. Applicants under the age of 18 are not eligible for this position due to legal restrictions on operating certain machinery and equipment.
