In this field-based role, you will act as a trusted scientific partner, supporting evidence-based discussions and fostering strong relationships across the Quebec and Atlantic regions. You will contribute to clinical research initiatives, scientific exchange programs, and therapeutic education while helping shape future treatment approaches. Accountabilities:
  • Engage in scientific exchange with healthcare professionals, presenting emerging clinical data and discussing treatment benefits and risks in an objective and compliant manner.
  • Support scientific initiatives including advisory boards, speaker programs, clinical trials, and externally sponsored research opportunities.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, academic experts, and healthcare stakeholders across assigned territories.
  • Provide scientific expertise throughout the product lifecycle across multiple therapeutic areas, including support for clinical trial site activation and engagement.
  • Monitor regional healthcare trends, treatment practices, and unmet medical needs to generate insights and support strategic decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with clinical operations and internal medical teams to strengthen research partnerships and improve trial execution.
  • Identify opportunities for scientific collaboration and contribute to the advancement of innovative research initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Medical Science Liaison within the pharmaceutical industry, with strong knowledge of the healthcare and medical affairs landscape.
  • Advanced scientific or healthcare degree such as PharmD, MD, PhD, or MSc.
  • Strong ability to synthesize and communicate complex scientific information effectively with physicians and healthcare professionals.
  • Experience or knowledge in respiratory therapeutic areas is considered a strong asset.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Self-motivated and capable of building credibility and influence within medical and scientific communities.
  • Ability and willingness to travel frequently within the assigned region and internationally when required.
  • Valid driver’s license and flexibility to support evolving therapeutic and business priorities.
  • Fluency in French and English is highly valuable for regional communication and collaboration.
