This role is central to ensuring smooth communication flow and operational efficiency within a fast-paced Risk & Compliance function. You will act as the first point of contact for a high-volume shared inbox, ensuring incoming requests are accurately triaged, prioritized, and routed to the right stakeholders. The position requires strong organizational skills and excellent written communication, as you will be responsible for maintaining clarity, responsiveness, and professionalism across all interactions. You will also play an important role in tracking requests, supporting workflow visibility, and identifying patterns that help improve team efficiency. In addition to coordination duties, you will contribute to documentation, scheduling, and administrative support for compliance-related processes. The environment is dynamic and detail-driven, requiring the ability to manage competing priorities while maintaining accuracy and consistency. Manage and streamline intake and coordination activities for the Risk & Compliance team, ensuring timely triage, communication, and routing of high-volume requests while maintaining process accuracy and operational visibility.
- Monitor, triage, and prioritize incoming emails in the shared Risk & Compliance mailbox.
- Categorize and assign requests to appropriate team members based on urgency and subject matter.
- Acknowledge receipt of inquiries and ensure timely, professional communication with stakeholders.
- Track incoming requests to support workflow monitoring, reporting, and operational insights.
- Draft clear and professional communications for internal and external stakeholders.
- Flag urgent, sensitive, or high-risk matters for leadership review.
- Support administrative tasks such as document compilation, meeting coordination, and scheduling.
- Assist in maintaining and improving process documentation and mailbox management workflows.
Strong organizational and communication skills with experience handling high-volume administrative or coordination tasks in a structured, fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional written communication and strong attention to detail.
- Proven ability to manage high volumes of emails or administrative requests efficiently.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills with process-oriented thinking.
- Ability to work independently while managing competing priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Teams, and SharePoint.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
- Experience in administrative, coordination, or client-facing roles preferred but not required.
- Strong collaboration skills with ability to work across teams and senior stakeholders.
- Interest in learning about risk, compliance, privacy, or ESG topics is a plus.
