Business Analyst Pharmacy & Patient Experience Insights

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Business Analyst – Pharmacy & Patient Experience Insights in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of healthcare analytics, patient experience, and operational performance, focusing on how patients move through pharmacy workflows from prescription intake to fulfillment and ongoing support. You will transform complex healthcare and operations data into clear insights that directly influence patient outcomes, service quality, and operational efficiency. Working in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment, you will partner closely with pharmacy, operations, product, and clinical teams to identify friction points and improvement opportunities. Your work will shape how thousands of patients experience care by improving speed, accuracy, and communication across the entire journey. This is a highly analytical and storytelling-driven role where insights translate directly into better healthcare delivery. You will also contribute to forecasting, modeling, and strategic decision-making in a growing, data-driven organization.

Accountabilities

In this role, you will analyze end-to-end patient and pharmacy workflows to uncover insights that improve experience, efficiency, and operational outcomes. You will build dashboards, models, and reporting tools while partnering cross-functionally to translate data into strategic actions.

  • Analyze patient journeys across intake, processing, fulfillment, and support workflows
  • Identify friction points, trends, and opportunities impacting patient experience and operational performance
  • Build dashboards and KPIs using Looker and other BI tools to monitor key metrics such as turnaround time, throughput, and resolution cycles
  • Use SQL and Python to develop scalable analytics models and automated insights
  • Translate complex data into clear narratives and presentations for leadership and cross-functional teams
  • Develop forecasting models for demand, staffing needs, and operational workload
  • Support scenario planning for workflow changes and experience improvement initiatives
  • Partner with engineering and operations teams to improve data quality, metrics, and reporting systems
Requirements

You bring strong analytical expertise with experience in business or data analysis, ideally within healthcare or patient-facing environments. You are highly skilled in SQL, Python, and BI tools, and can turn complex datasets into actionable business insights.

  • 3–6+ years of experience as a Business, Data, or Operations Analyst
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and Looker or similar BI platforms
  • Experience analyzing customer or patient journeys, operational workflows, or service performance metrics
  • Ability to identify trends, perform root-cause analysis, and generate actionable insights
  • Strong storytelling and communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth, ambiguous environments
  • Preferred: background in pharmacy operations, healthcare delivery, or PBM environments
  • Preferred: exposure to predictive modeling, queueing theory, or operational analytics techniques
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (or equivalent experience)
Benefits
  • Competitive salary range of $95,000–$120,000
  • Remote work environment with flexible setup
  • Full-time employment with structured support and collaboration
  • Opportunity to impact real patient outcomes at scale
  • Health-focused mission-driven organization
  • Exposure to advanced analytics, forecasting, and healthcare operations
  • Collaborative cross-functional culture across operations, product, and clinical teams
  • Equal opportunity workplace with inclusive hiring practices
