About the Role:
We are seeking a TAR-Welder Foreman to join our team in the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry. As a TAR-Welder Foreman, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the welding activities during Turnaround (TAR) projects. You will ensure that all welding work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your role will be critical in ensuring that TAR projects are completed on time and within budget, while maintaining a high level of safety and quality.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding and fabrication
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and equipment
Preferred Qualifications:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Welding Engineering or related field
- Experience in the Oil and Gas Extraction Mining and Quarrying industry
- Experience with project management software
- Experience with welding automation and robotics
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all welding activities during TAR projects
- Ensure that all welding work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards
- Supervise and train welding personnel
- Maintain accurate records of welding activities and materials used
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure that TAR projects are completed on time and within budget
Skills:
As a TAR-Welder Foreman, you will utilize your strong knowledge of welding processes, materials, and equipment to oversee and coordinate all welding activities during TAR projects. You will also use your supervisory skills to train and manage welding personnel, and your project management skills to collaborate with other departments to ensure that TAR projects are completed on time and within budget. Additionally, your experience with welding automation and robotics will be beneficial in optimizing welding processes and increasing efficiency. Your attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records will ensure that all welding work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.
