Responsibilities
1st Shift - Monday through Friday - 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Pay Grade HRB003
Starting Pay Rate: $19.60/hr

Now hiring for a Warehouseperson at our New Kensington, PA manufacturing plant. In this role you will be counted to perform the following tasks:
- Enters data and uses all systems related to shipping, receiving, picking, packing, and material movements.
- Loads and unloads material on/off trucks and vehicles. Unpacks, identifies, counts material, and transports to appropriate destination. Receives and prepares prescribed records for incoming materials.
- Performs clerical duties involving preparation of required forms and records for parcel post, express, common carrier, and freight shipments.
- Completes shipping documents (shipping memos, packing slips, etc.) with all required data.
- Prepares special records and forms in connection with government, hazardous goods, and customer-specific shipments.
- Maintains a working inventory of documents, forms, and labels.
- Calls for carrier pickups.
- Packs, places, and transacts material to proper location using forklifts or other appropriate equipment.
- Performs cycle counts.
- Performs storekeeping operations (store, relocate, remove, inspect, maintain, count) following standardized practices. Kits and issues outgoing materials, verifying quantity and identification. Transacts movements. Completes related records and clerical tasks.
- Delivers material promptly as needed for in-house use.
- Packs for domestic or export shipment. Exercises care in placing and securing materials following standardized procedures or good practices to provide maximum protection. Verifies quantity and identity against shipping documents. Seals, weighs, labels, and marks containers.
- Follows first-in-first-out/stock rotation procedures for both material storage and material picking.
- Participates in Continuous Improvement activities.
- Packs for domestic or export shipment. Exercises care in placing and securing materials following standardized procedures or good practices to provide maximum protection. Verifies quantity and identity against shipping documents. Seals, weighs, labels, and marks containers.
- Follows first-in-first-out/stock rotation procedures for both material storage and material picking.
- Must be able to open incoming repairs and complete the writing up of necessary paperwork.
Work Standards to be met:
- Packing methods must be sufficient to protect product.
- Transactions and records must be accurate and complete.
- Must keep work area in clean and orderly condition.
- Must rotate through all roles within the Warehouseman scope.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Strong attention to detail to prevent damage and loss of materials or products.
- Ability to:
- perform standard software operations including SAP, UPS, and FedEx.
- be proficient in basic math and have legible handwriting.
- use material handling equipment, including a forklift. Must attain and maintain an OSHA powered industrial truck certification bi-annually with an acceptable safety record.
- obtain DOT certification.
- visually and mentally concentrate for prolonged periods of time.
- infrequently lift, carry, push and pull up to 35 pounds without assistance; sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.
- effectively communicate with various levels within the organization.
- work in a team environment and work independently with minimal supervision.
- operate at a level that meets or exceeds quality and productivity standards for the work area.
Education & Experience Preferred:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Minimum of 1-year experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
