This is a strategic leadership opportunity for an experienced finance professional to influence business performance within a complex wealth and annuity environment. The role combines financial management, executive partnership, business strategy, and team leadership to support long-term growth and profitability. Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will provide financial insights, guide key business decisions, and help shape strategic initiatives across product, revenue, and performance management functions. - Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to support business objectives within the wealth and annuity segment.
- Partner with executive leaders to evaluate business performance, identify growth opportunities, and influence key operational and strategic decisions.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and performance management activities to ensure alignment with organizational goals.
- Analyze revenue streams, product profitability, pricing strategies, and financial performance metrics to drive sustainable business growth.
- Develop and communicate financial insights, recommendations, and business cases to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
- Lead, mentor, and develop finance professionals while fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Support the evaluation of new business initiatives, investments, and product opportunities through financial modeling and scenario analysis.
- Monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory developments that may impact financial performance and strategic direction.
- Drive process improvements and enhance financial reporting capabilities to support informed decision-making and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure financial strategies are integrated into broader business objectives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related financial discipline.
- Master’s degree in Business Administration or a related field is preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CPA, CMA, CLU, ChFC, CCUE, FSA, CFA, ASA, or equivalent credentials are highly valued.
- 12+ years of progressive experience in financial management within the financial services, insurance, wealth management, or annuity sectors.
- Demonstrated experience managing teams, leading finance functions, or providing direction to cross-functional resources.
- Proven track record of influencing executive-level business decisions through financial analysis, strategic recommendations, and consultative leadership.
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, profitability analysis, pricing models, revenue management, and performance measurement.
- Deep understanding of annuities, pension risk transfer, insurance financials, liability-driven investing, or related financial products is preferred.
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to develop and interpret complex financial models.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to lead through influence, facilitate decision-making, and build strong relationships across all organizational levels.
