About This Position
Fabrication TechnicianDuties/Responsibilities:
- Welding / joining & cutting metal and other materials into a wide range of structures.
- Hands on experience on Mig welding, Tig welding & stick/rod welding.
- Follow engineering plans, drawings, and instructions.
- Cutting materials into the required shapes, checking dimensions and thickness
- Performs other related duties in the Maintenance department as assigned.
- Mechanically inclined with great problem-solving skills.
- Works well independently and with others.
- Good communication skills.
- Organized with attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 to 4 years’ experience
- Prolonged periods standing and walking.
- Able to bend, stretch, push, pull, and move as needed to reach, clean, and service machinery.
- Must be able to visually inspect machines.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
