Job Overview

RWJBarnabas Health, New Jersey’s most comprehensive health care system, is looking for a motivated intern to join our Corporate Partnerships department.

The intern should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, and will finish the internship having gained extensive knowledge in various aspects partnership management, event planning, program development, research and employee engagement.

All candidates should be prepared to conduct research, write planning documents, attend events, and help bring to life existing partnerships through the activation of programs that increases brand awareness, engages with consumers and drives consumers to use our facilities and services.

Qualifications

Required:

• Enrolled as an Undergraduate or Graduate student who is majoring in marketing or communications.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with some knowledge of event planning, sports and entertainment

Essential Functions

• Assist the Corporate Partnerships Department with event planning and activation of existing partnerships
• Conduct research to identify new events and partners that share vision, mission and values
• Develop integrated programs designed to increase brand awareness
• Support event activation plans and coordinate participation with local facilities
• Develop comprehensive materials in support of partnerships
• Work across system service lines to promote health, wellness and nutrition
