About This Position
Certified Medical Dosimetrist – Full-Time
Location: Willis Knighton Cancer Center, Shreveport, Louisiana
Position: Full-Time, Hybrid 40% remote The Department of Radiation Oncology at Willis Knighton Cancer Center is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Dosimetrist (CMD) to join our growing team. This position will expand our current team to four CMDs. About Us: Willis Knighton Cancer Center is part of Willis Knighton Health, serving the Shreveport-Bossier area and the broader ArkLaTex region. All radiation therapy services are centralized at our state-of-the-art facility, which treats approximately 85 patients daily. Our team includes 4 physicians, 5 faculty physicists, 2 medical physics residents, 3 dosimetrists, and a dosimetry student. Our cutting-edge modalities include proton therapy, SRS, SBRT, and theranostics (nuclear oncology). Shreveport offers the perfect blend of affordability, culture, and convenience. Software: RayStation, Accuray Precision, MOSAIQ, Limbus Auto Contouring, RadCalc, Brainlab Elements, Oncentra HDR
Imaging: Philips RT CT simulator, BodyTom portable CT, Philips Ingenia MR-RT
Nuclear Oncology: GE StarGuide SPECT/CT, Siemens Biograph Vision 450 PET/CT

- Strong communication and teamwork skills Experience with RayStation and proton treatment planning a plus
