Graphic Designer at HUNT Real Estate Corporation – Depew, New York

Objective

The Graphic Designer supports the Marketing Services Department of the company and is responsible for creating high-quality creative materials for both print and digital media that meet all marketing objectives.
This includes, but is not limited to:

• Advertisements
• Brochures
• Logos
• Multimedia art
• Videos
• Web design
• Email campaigns
• Special projects as needed

The Graphic Designer works collaboratively with the Marketing team to deliver effective visual content.

Functions

• Design digital and print ads based on requirements for HREC and individual agents
• Design logos and brand identity systems for HREC and agents
• Design corporate and agent web content
• Perform updates to HUNT website, as needed (basic knowledge of HTML preferred)
• Create video content for HREC and ancillary companies, including: Explainer videos, Video templates for agents and Internal/external announcements
• Edit raw video footage and audio to create cohesive content
• Create and edit graphics such as: Transitional elements, Text, Subtitles and Animations and/or motion graphics
• Prepare and encode videos in multiple specifications and formats for various platforms
• Support the development of creative concepts and campaign imagery
• Assist with the production of corporate events and marketing functions
• Provide Creative Director and Chief Marketing Officer with regular project status updates
• Maintain current knowledge of design software and tools
• Track and record production time accurately
• Ensure all work meets established corporate standards and deadlines

Education/Certification

• Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts or related field: Communication/Graphic Design

Experience Required

• Proven graphic design experience with 3–5 years directly related to the duties listed above

Computer Skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and other relevant design tools
• Experience with prepress protocols for both print and digital projects

Skills/Abilities

• Strong understanding of visual design and messaging targeted to specific audiences
• Proficient knowledge of typography, color theory, and current design trends
• Familiarity with digital and offset printing protocols
• Basic knowledge of HTML preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
• Flexibility to multitask and shift priorities as needed
• Ability to work methodically and meet deadlines
• Experience editing videos and incorporating sound, music, and transitions
