Job Description
|
The therapy technician's primary function is to perform designated routine tasks related to the operation of the therapy services, but may assist with patient related activities which are predetermined for each patient. The technician works under the supervision of a Therapists/ Assistant. The technician assists in handling patients , routine gait training, monitoring routine exercises in the department, transporting patients and materials to and from therapy department and the operation of hydrotherapy. Performs cleaning and sterilizing of equipment and general housekeeping duties to maintain a clean environment. |

High school graduate, preferably with a minimum of 2 years of college. |

Maintains current CPR certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire. If assigned to drive company vehicle, a valid driver’s license is required. If assigned to drive personal vehicle, proof of insurance is required in addition to a valid driver’s license. |

Prefer one year minimum of experience working in the patient care setting, preferably as a patient caregiver. |
|
Must be able to lift 50 pounds. |
