IS Technology & Corp Solutions Summer Non-Clinical Intern at Parkview Health – Fort Wayne, Indiana

The Information Services Intern will support the IT team at Parkview Regional Medical Center. This intern will be assisting with technical support, system maintenance, and other technology-related tasks. This position provides hands-on experience in a variety of information technology functions, offering valuable exposure to IT operations and the opportunity to build foundational skills for a future career in the field. The intern will assist with troubleshooting hardware and software issues, responding to service requests, and supporting end-users with technology needs. Additional responsibilities include assisting with server and network maintenance to ensure optimal system performance, as well as installing and updating software applications in compliance with organizational standards.

During the internship, the student will participate in projects such as hardware replacement and upgrades for existing Windows 10 devices and Wyse Terminals, as well as other technology and infrastructure improvement initiatives. This is a full-time internship, scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with 8-hour daytime shifts.

Must be a current undergraduate college student or graduate college student. A specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship. A specific license and/or certification may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship. GPA of 3.0 or above Submission of Cover Letter Resume and Letter of Recommendation.
