About This Position
Northwood is hiring a mental health therapist for the Evergreen Team (6-11 year old female team)!
General Description
The primary responsibility of the therapist position is to provide individual, group and family therapy to the students. Therapy is defined as a dynamic process utilizing several different therapeutic approaches and methods to facilitate the resolution or relief of symptoms or problems in an individual, group or family structure. The foundation of the therapeutic process is built from extensive information provided to the therapist through interviews, review of records and evaluations as well as information provided by the individual, family, county, court and significant others. The therapist determines the need and direction of therapy based on the diagnostic and assessment information reviewed and analyzed by the therapist, the Clinical Team, and in clinical supervision. Ongoing clinical notes are maintained and reports and treatment plans are provided to the team, as needed, on a timely basis.
The mental health therapist acts as a consultant and "co-leader" to the teams including enforcing Northwood policies and procedures, providing the Executive Team with feedback on program needs and development, development of mental health therapeutic programs and a member of the clinical community. The therapist is also responsible to coordinate and communicate with insurance companies and maintain updated diagnostic assessments on the students.
Minimum Qualifications
• Master's Degree (or a clinical trainee) plus two years of experience in child and youth services or a related field. *
• Licensed Mental Health Professional credentials required (LGSW, LICSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LPC, LPCC, or LP)

Pay and Other Incentives
- Minimum starting pay: $50,000 graduate level, $58,656 master's level and 67,000 fully licensed therapist
- Clinical supervision available for undergraduate and graduate program internships, staff seeking Mental Health Practitioner status, and for therapy staff seeking licensure
- Training opportunities for CEU credits, certifications in Family Systems Trauma, Trauma Focused CBT, or other areas of expertise
- Cost covered for professional licensing exam and license renewal fees

Compensation and Full-time Benefits Package
- Medical & Dental insurance including options for zero cost to employee only
- Health Savings Account eligible plans with an employer match of between $1000-$2500 per year

- Life Insurance (employer paid, employee only) equal to 1x total salary
