About This Position
Job Summary
The Lead Qualified Professional serves as the assistant to the clinical director for the MORES team and Outpatient Services. Maintains staffing schedules, and assists in the provision of supervision requirements for teams.

- Ensure the prompt and accurate completion of all necessary clinical and program-related forms. Assist the Clinical Director in ensuring that all appropriate documentation is maintained.
- Provide training and supervision to the QPs/SCs to ensure continuation of knowledge in the areas of crisis intervention and behavior modification and other related areas requiring increased skills.
- Work collaboratively with other members of the child's Treatment Team to design and direct the implementation of a crisis treatment plan.
- Ensure that all crisis treatment plans are proactive and individualized to the child and family needs.
- Assist in the management of aggressive clients as needed, using approved de-escalation and crisis management techniques,
- Identify behavioral goals and intervention techniques, recommend non-averse behavioral change methods to treatment team members and family, and implement programs using the least restrictive treatment modality.
- Effectively monitor crisis treatment plan implementation regularly and communicate with all staff and professionals involved to ensure the effectiveness of all intervention techniques.
- Maintain an on-shift schedule of 24 hours per week.
- Cover cases of full-time and part-time
- Conduct monthly training of full-time and part-time as assigned by the Clinical Director.
- Meet monthly and as needed for case reviews with full-time and part-time as assigned by the Clinical Director.
- Maintain awareness of the KidsPeace continuum of services and actively promote the internal transfer and referral of children and families whenever clinically indicated by attending biannual training on the continuum and communicating with associates between levels of care and actively seeking opportunities to share information about the continuum with consumers as evidenced by written documentation in the client record.
- Conduct monthly QPs/SCs supervision in the absence of the Clinical Director.
- Conduct weekly chart audits as assigned by Clinical Director.
- All other duties as assigned by management.
- Coverage as needed in the absence of Clinical Director.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Services or related field and one year of experience required.
- Experience with acute and emotionally challenged children or adolescents preferred.
- Valid driver's license and First Aid/CPR certifications are required.
- Must possess basic personal computer knowledge and skills.
- Must be 21 years of age.
