About This Position
Position Overview:
We're looking for a Chief Financial Officer to join our Executive Team. The CFO is responsible for the day-to-day management of activities concerned with the financial management of the hospital including financial accounting and financial and statistical reporting for both internal and external needs. Manages the capital and operating budget processes and directs the hospital’s cash management and investment program. The incumbent in the position is a key member of the hospital management staff. This position reports directly to the Chief Executive Officer and is responsible for the supervision of an Administrative Assistant, Finance Department, Information Systems Dept., Materials Management Dept., Case Management Dept., Patient Access, Health Information Management, and Patient Financial Services.
Qualifications:
Formal Education / Training:
Master’s Degree with CPA or Equivalent Desirable.
Workplace Experience:
• At least fifteen years of progressive hospital (or health care) experience is required.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship/team-building skills, with the ability to effectively engage and inspire others.
• Demonstrated ability to think strategically, analyze complex issues, and develop innovative solutions as part of the problem-solving process
• Experience managing multi-department budgets and resources effectively.
• Ethical integrity/character, ability to move quickly/make timely decisions and changes when necessary. Multitask/manage multiple competing priorities at the same time.
• Technology expertise in dealing with EHR and other tools for things like managing productivity and OR scheduling, etc.
