About This Position
SUMMARY
Responsible for supporting the sales team by maintaining strong client relationships. This role involves collaborating with clients to identify their needs, delivering tailored solutions, and providing consultative support throughout the sales cycle. The Sales Assistant will generate timely and accurate quotations, ensure consistent and precise data entry within the CRM system, and assist Territory Managers in managing a dynamic sales pipeline to meet organizational performance objectives. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the Inside Sales Manager as required.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Present product features and clearly articulate the benefits to customers.
2. Educate customers on the advantages of company products compared to the competition.
3. Prepare and maintain accurate reports and documentation to support sales activities in a timely manner.
4. Create, update, and manage customer databases and spreadsheet records.
5. Identify new business opportunities by researching prospects and evaluating their position within the industry.
6. Research and analyze sales options.
7. Maintain strong client relationships by providing timely support, relevant information, and expert guidance.
8. Assess customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions.
9. Handle phone inquiries and transactions efficiently and professionally.
10. Ensure clear and consistent communication across all levels of the organization.
11. Assist with special projects and cross-functional initiatives as assigned.
12. Demonstrate consistent punctuality and reliability in daily responsibilities.
13. Perform additional duties as directed by management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
1. Three + years of experience.
2. Bachelor’s degree preferred, may substitute appropriate experience in lieu of degree.
3. Excellent computer skills. Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
4. Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
5. Excellent time management and organizational skills.
6. Professional appearance and demeanor.
7. Ability to prioritize and follow through on multiple tasks/projects.
8. Outstanding interpersonal skills, always working with discretion and tact.
9. Uphold business presence, maturity, and judgment.
10. Must be self-motivated, positive, and energetic.
