New Start Pay:

    $22.50/hour + $0.75 schedule premium (just for 2-2-3 schedule)$23.50 at 90 days + $0.75 schedule premium (just for 2-2-3 schedule)$24.50 at 1 year + $0.75 schedule premium (just for 2-2-3 schedule)

Main Responsibilities:

    Set Up and Operate MachinesFollow Specification for Insulation WireInspect Finished Products and TestingMaintain Work Area CleanComply with PPE and Safety Requirements

Responsible for producing insulated wire, including loading and unloading reels manually; stringing up machines; setting machine and take-up controls for proper operation; ensuring proper chemical flow; troubleshooting machine and quality problems.

Additional Responsibilities:

    Inspect product diameterSet tape overlap and registrationMonitor product packagingTag and identify finished productsUtilize material handling equipmentOperate welding and swaging devicesPerform safety inspectionsMaintain material supplyRecord production data

Position Specifications

Minimum Qualifications:

    Manufacturing Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent manufacturing experience, with at least 3 years of total related experienceHigh School Diploma – GEDKnowledge of safety, distribution, and manufacturing best practicesMechanical and hands-on experience with basic hand tools and measuring devices, verified through work history and referencesWe are looking for candidates with a strong work ethic, reliability, and a demonstrated commitment to professional growth in a manufacturing settingReading and comprehension skills; ability to follow verbal and written instructions; ability to read and interpret process sheets and other production documentsAbility to adjust to changes in equipment/tools and modifications to existing equipment for the purposes of continuous improvementAbility to operate micrometers and other production testing equipment Ability to interpret test data and record on documents; basic computer skillsAbility to operate powered production equipment; ability to operate forkliftsAbility to follow safe work practices in a manufacturing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

    Preference for candidates demonstrating consistent work historyPreference for candidates with warehouse/forklift certification

Work Environment: Work performed in a manufacturing environment. Floors may be slippery due to steel plating.
