Ganahl Lumber is seeking a reliable and detail-driven Dispatcher to support daily delivery operations at our Escondido location. This is a key operational role responsible for coordinating drivers, managing delivery schedules, and ensuring customers receive materials accurately and on time.
This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment, communicates clearly, and takes ownership of keeping operations running smoothly.

Primary Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily routes for approximately 4–8 drivers
• Schedule and dispatch deliveries to maximize efficiency and on-time performance
• Communicate with drivers, yard personnel, and customers regarding delivery status
• Review load assignments for accuracy and proper routing
• Monitor GPS systems and respond to route changes or delays
• Maintain accurate dispatch records within company systems
• Support customer service by resolving delivery issues promptly

• Strong ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent reliability and attendance
• High attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while supporting team operations
• Strong multitasking and communication abilities
• Commitment to meeting delivery schedules and customer expectations

• Previous dispatch, logistics, or transportation coordination experience
• Basic knowledge of load building or construction material deliveries
• Truck driving experience is a plus
• Familiarity with dispatch software such as AccuTerm
• Experience with GPS tracking systems (ex: Zonar)
