SOCIAL WORKER at Auburn Community Hospital – Auburn , New York

Will be responsible for providing psychosocial services to patients and their families, to facilitate adjustment to illness and institutionalization; providing information and assistance with financial and discharge planning needs, in collaboration with patients, families, medical and nursing personnel, other hospital staff, and community agencies; maintaining professional standards and acting in accordance with established department objectives and procedures. Perform case review process to ensure financial reimbursement.

Qualifications:
Must have a Bachelor of Social Work degree or related fields. Two (2) years of experience in a social work-related department is desired. LMSW is preferred.
