Receptionist/Transporter at Golden Valley Memorial Hospital – Clinton, Missouri

The primary purpose of this position is to assist in patient scheduling, patient registration and patient transport as directed by the Director of Imaging Services. This position screens incoming imaging exam orders for clinical appropriateness and reason before assigning the order to prior authorization for next steps. Once authorized, this position works with Centralized Scheduling to schedule all imaging exams in a timely manner. The scheduler assists with same-day add-on exams and scheduling of biopsies that require imaging. This person must also be able to transport patients to and from the Imaging department as directed.

Required:
High school diploma or equivalent
BLS within 30 days of hire

*Starting Range: $15.80-$17.38
