REHAB SERVICES AIDE I at H. Lee Moffitt Cancer Center – Tampa, Florida

Works in conjunction with Physical/Occupational Therapists to assist in positioning, transferring, and treating patients. Supports the rehab and speech/nutrition clinics via assistance with equipment maintenance, billing reconciliation/ coding, Joint Commission compliance with regulatory checklists, coordination with Sterile Processing Dept for equipment cleaning, and performs general departmental organization tasks.

Works in collaboration with rehab and nursing to safety ambulate inpatients to ensure sufficient mobility throughout the inpatient admission. Performs mobility tasks independently, utilizing daily reports and participation in daily interdisciplinary rounds to determine patient eligibility.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma/GED required
• BLS Certification required
• One year experience in a hospital, skilled nursing facility, or rehab setting and/or experience in customer service preferred.

Mon-Friday 7:30am to 4:00pm, Some weekends and holidays.
