JOB DESCRIPTION DETAILS

Job Summary:
- To perform CT and radiographic studies and oversee the department in a professional, supervisory manner throughout the evening shift; thus serving as the resource for all patient and staff issues.

Education:
- Position requires high school diploma or equivalent with successful completion of a formal Radiologic Technology accredited by the Joint Review Commission on Education in Radiologic Technology

Registration/Certification/Licensure:
- Maryland licensure, required.
- ARRT certification in Radiograpy and CT, required.

Experience:
- Previous CT and radiography experience required. Must demonstrate the knowledge of the normal operation of all Radiographic/CT equipment and possess the ability to troubleshoot and make the appropriate service calls when necessary.

Other Requirements:
- Maintains unit-specific and hospital competencies, mandatory learning, and any clinical certifications required in accordance with the Staff Education and Training policy GA-057 and/or any other department requirements.
- Effectively communicates with all patient populations and staff by implementing organization-wide communication techniques as a daily practice.
- Effectively advocates for quality patient safety and satisfaction as a daily practice.
